Missions & Outreach
At Open Gate Church, we may be a new church plant, but our vision is anything but small. We carry a deep, determined passion to see lives, communities, and even whole nations renewed by the love and power of God. Mission isn’t an add-on for us: it’s at the core of who we are and what we believe Jesus has called His church to be.
Our Heart for Mission
We believe God is already at work all around us, and we want to join Him: locally, nationally, and internationally. Our hope is to see real transformation: in families, in neighbourhoods, in our workplaces, and across the nations. Whether it’s sharing hope, serving practically, or supporting ministries abroad, we’re committed to being a church that steps out boldly and loves generously.

Local Mission
We’re passionate about blessing the place God has planted us. That means getting hands-on, showing up, and partnering with local charities and organisations who are already doing brilliant work in our community.
From supporting vulnerable families, to serving in practical projects, to simply being present where we’re needed, we want our town to feel the impact of the gospel in meaningful and tangible ways.
National Mission
We long to see renewal sweep across the UK: touching not just churches, but the very fabric of society. Our heart is to see families strengthened and restored, mental health burdens lifted, and the deep value and sacredness of life honoured once again. We believe the nation is hungry for truth, goodness, kindness, and generosity to rise to the surface, shaping communities in a way that reflects God’s heart.
As a church, we want to play an active role in that story. By connecting with ministries, networks, and movements across the country, we hope to stand alongside others who share this vision for national transformation. Together, we believe we can help bring hope, healing, and wholeness to the nation we call home.

Our heart for mission goes beyond our borders. We’re excited to step into international mission trips, support global outreach projects, and build long-term relationships with churches in other nations.
Whether it’s equipping leaders, serving in practical needs, encouraging local churches, or sharing the gospel in new regions, we’re committed to playing our part in God’s global story.
